Technology Use by Nonprofits

The Lehman Reports series of research studies helps associations and nonprofits make more informed purchase decisions, and helps providers better align their marketing and product plans. These studies provide information and insight on the types of technology products and services currently used by nonprofits to advance their mission, satisfaction with these products and services, and plans to adopt new technology products and services in the future.

The Lehman Reports are conducted and published by Lehman Associates a strategy consulting and research firm. Founded in 1992, Lehman Associates helps companies, associations and other non-profits be more successful with better information and insight about markets and constituents, well-constructed strategy to help guide planning and resource allocation, and effective use of online technologies to reach and engage target audiences. We have worked with dozens of non-profit organizations to help them align business and strategic goals and their technology strategy plan.

Extends the domestic AMS study to Canada, Australia, and the UK. Periodic: 2010, 2013

Donor Management Systems (DMS) Study

Details the use and satisfaction of donor management systems across the full nonprofit market. This study is undertaken in collaboration with NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network. Annual study, first conducted in 2013. (Study Details)

Snapshot Surveys

Introduced in 2013, these micro-studies provide quick input on timely topics with about five questions taking less than five minutes to complete with findings back to participants in about five days.
